ARTICULATION

 

I've been keeping busy recently with a new project I call ARTICULATION.  

I love fabrics with script of any sort !!  My collection was growing and I was always on the hunt for more.  It seemed to be time to create a project to make use of these textiles combining two of my passions: fabric and writing.  Just having completed four bed quilts for high school graduates, I wasn't excited about starting another large scale project.  By coincidence I came across a jazz themed scarf I had made for Vinnie years ago.  Ah!  There it is!!!  I can make scarves with these fabrics and give them to all my friends!!

Around the same time as I was thinking this, my daughter began working on a plan to open a shop.  It would be an eclectic mix of vintage, gifts, books, bonsai, and art.  Yes!  Perfect!!  To date I have completed 28 scarves and my work table is fruitful with stages of about 10 more.  I'm loving this project!!
